Application
1. Hydrogen purification and hydrogen separation
Palladium Metal Foil uses the selective hydrogen permeability of palladium membranes to produce hydrogen purification devices and hydrogen separation membrane components to produce high-purity hydrogen.
2. Fuel cells and electrolyzed water
Palladium Foil is used as a catalytic electrode and proton conduction membrane material in proton exchange membrane fuel cells and water electrolysis hydrogen production equipment.
3. Electronics and semiconductor industry
It is used in precision electrodes, conductive leads, RF devices, semiconductor packaging, and special sputtering target substrates.
4. Catalytic reaction and chemical engineering

Process
(1) Raw material purification: Palladium concentrate or waste is refined and chemically purified into high-purity palladium ingots or palladium blanks.
(2) Melt casting and opening billets: melting ingots under vacuum or inert atmosphere, and then forging or hot rolling into thick slabs.
(3) Multi-pass cold rolling: through repeated cold rolling, the thickness is gradually reduced to obtain different specifications of palladium foil intermediates.
(4) Intermediate annealing: Vacuum annealing is interspersed during the cold rolling process to eliminate work hardening and ensure plasticity and facilitate continued rolling.
(5) Precision rolling: Achieve the target thickness through precision cold rolling, and control the flatness and thickness tolerance.
(6) Cutting and slitting: shearing, slitting, and punching according to size requirements to make sheets or rolls.
(7) Final heat treatment: vacuum annealing adjusts the hardness and mechanical properties, and is divided into soft/semi-hard/hard finished products.
(8) Cleaning treatment: degreasing, pickling, rinsing with pure water, drying, removing oil stains, and oxide layers.
(9) Testing and packaging: testing the size, surface, purity, and performance, and packaging it in a vacuum or inert gas after qualification.
